Looked just like the pics. Rustic but modern amenities. The owner's farm dog is big but so sweet. Backyard and porches were awesome. Plenty of kitchen items for cooking. Nespressor - not Keurig for you coffee peeps! The extra toilet/shower in laundry was great. Washer and dryer a big plus. Road traffic a little noisy but tapers off at night. Tankless hot water system so run one shower at a time is best. Owner had excellent communication. The pole light over the driveway was our biggest negative - bright and blue colored. It's on the master bed side and no curtains so we had to adapt at night. Discussed with owner and hopefully they change that. Aside from that, a great country stay.

This place is magical! Super clean and beautiful cabin. A couple friends and I came here from Austin for a weekend getaway. We used the firepit, hung out by the lake, and played a little music. Denver the dog was a hit and super friendly! Will definitely be coming back.

Loved this peace of heaven away from the city. The cabin was very clean with very nice beds and furniture . It is beautiful and cozy with wonderful porches. The pond was extra special - Little John boat to fish off of or just paddle around. My boys caught several Bluegill with worms. They had a blast with Denver , the big fluffy loveable dog at the property. He kept us all company and was just like family ! This place was an awesome getaway and at the last minute , was very accommodating and even extended our stay an extra night. We will definately return soon.

We had a great time at Silviano's cabin. Everything was as promised, it was impeccably clean, and the furnishing were modern and updated. We relaxed on the back porch at night, and enjoyed our visits from Denver the cuddly pooch. It was exactly what you would have thought a cabin in Texas would be, and true to the photos. We would definitely return.

Silvianos cabin was absolutely beautiful. The cabin has a private lake with fish and a little fishing boat in the back. The cookware was premium. The furniture was extremely nice. Everything was beautiful leather. The cabin had really good spices and was so clean and relaxing. Our favorite thing was the animals especially the working dog that looks after the cattle and goats and chickens. We were all sad when it was time to go and will definitely be back.

We had a great little getaway at Silviano's place. We loved the location off the beaten path, it was a great home base for exploring the history around La Grange. We loved the rustic construction of the cabin and it was very cozy. The beds were very comfortable, everything was well stocked for the kitchen and bathrooms, and even a nice laundry room. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch since I am a Nespresso user, and they even had my favorite Mexico blend ! The back porch was also very nice and a great place to hang out in the mornings or evenings to watch the birds. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy a birthday celebration! Once we arrived, we did not leave until check out as everything we needed was already there! Amazing night skies, pond for fishing, and giant oak trees. They have done a beautiful job on their log cabin. We want to return soon!

I have been going to Warrenton Roundtop for 10 years to both the Fall and Spring Show. We decided to check out La Grange and just scope out the area as it isn’t far from the Antique Shows. Silviano’s Rustic Cabin popped up and it looked perfect! 7 miles North of La Grange set in a pretty piece of country, chickens running around, and our awesome greeter - Denver the 1 year old Great Pyrenees! The cabin is so comfortable with 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom as well as a shower in the washroom! Queen bed in one room with an electric bed head elevator ! Lol the other bedroom has a bunk bed combination with a full size comfy bed on the bottom and twin on top. The house is just like home! Every thing you need is in the kitchen. The Espresso Coffee maker is to die for! Worth the money for sure!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It was well set up with lots of amenities and activities and it's in a gorgeous location. Cooking on the Blackstone outside was a nice bonus. There is a farm dog that hangs around outside. He's incredibly friendly and playful and we loved having him around, but if you don't like dogs the host offered to keep him otherwise occupied. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for events in La Grange or just a relaxing stay in the country!

We really appreciated the Rustic Retreat. We were looking for a quiet few days away from the city, and the cabin fit the bill. It was rustic, just as we were looking for, but had all of the modern comforts of home. The pond, grill, and fire pit were great, our host was responsive and accommodating, and Denver (the retreat’s resident pup) was super cute and friendly. Would recommend and book again.

We spent three wonderful nights in a The Rustic Cabin in late Jan. It is a beautiful cabin and contains all the needed items to make the stay special. It's private and sits on a small lake. The cabin is very well appointed and was very clean upon arrival. We sat outside at the fire pit each night and greatly enjoyed the visit. Sylviano is the host and he contacted us to ensure we had everything we needed. It's is an 18 minute drive to Round Top and all the neat shops. We look & look forward to returning for another visit.
